The metallic
multi-colored robe, has a black and gold braided belt with black
and gold buttons.
The robe is lined
with black satin and has a back opening to access the brass levers
to operate
the puppet.
The shirt is a
rust color moire fabric, the hat fabric, same as
the robe, is trimmed with black satin and
a red/gold band.
The wood armature is mounted to a support pole
with a hand
made brass
lever mechanism
which controls
the head movements -- forward/back
and side-to-side.
The hand
gestures move independently
using the rods which, combined with the head movements, create expressive gestures giving "Gregor" a
life-like quality.
