Bonzo - Head

The automata mechanisms,
designed and machined by the artist,
consist of an internal crankshaft,
which enables the Automaton
Monkey figure to operate at
varied speed, in forward or reverse.

The brass hand-crank mechanism
operates a counterbalanced armature,
creating a rhythmic side-to-side
motion with alternating leg kicks,
making Bonzo a very content Monkey.

Total dimensions: 14"H x 9"L x 8.5"W
