Visitors from Creative Pinellas, Engagement Director Elizabeth Brincklow, Board member Carlen Petersen, and Executive Director Barbara St. Clair stopped by our home studio to see what we have been up to. We were so happy to to have personal time to meet with some of the people who helped make the Rapid Returns Fellowship Grant possible. It was a wonderful opportunity to express how much their support has meant to us and the impact it has had personally and creatively.
We shared our works in progress — 2 servo-controlled automata and 2 hand-controlled puppets. These will evolve into future projects but for now this is our experiment phase of working out the mechanism. Often the movement inspires the character so we will just have to wait to see who (or what) emerges from our laboratory…
